Lance W. Banninga has been with The Mitchell Corporation since 1969. A graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, Lance also holds the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation from the American College of Insurance in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Lance lives in Schererville and is married to the former Nancy Mitchell. They have one son, Steve, who is Vice President at The Mitchell Corporation.

Lance has held positions on the Agency Advisory Boards of West Bend Mutual, Ansvar America, and Rockford Mutual Insurance Co. He has also been active on the boards of directors for his local church, camp and retreat center, Christian school and foundation and other service organizations. Also he is an instructor in Insurance and Risk Management at Trinity Christian College. In his leisure he enjoys golf and boating.

Stephen L. Banninga, C.I.C., joined The Mitchell Corporation full time in June of 1992; although he had worked part time since 1987. A graduate of Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois, Steve has done additional studies at AETNA'S Home Office Sales School, Hartford, Ct. and has earned the C.I.C. (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.

Steve lives in Monee, IL. and is married to Paula Franson who is a graduate nurse and education liaison to oncologists for a biotech pharmaceutical company. They are the proud parents of Sophie Anne. Steve is the third generation at The Mitchell Corporation following in the footsteps of his father, Lance, and his grandparents, Charlotte and Steve Mitchell.

Steve is an avid sports enthusiast and particularly enjoys golf, having played in the Illinois and Indiana Amateur, Western Amateur, US Mid Amateur District Golf Association Tournaments
