Our Approach
We are a NWI Independent Insurance Agency.
We do not work for an insurance company; we work for you, as independent insurance agents. We work on your side when you have a loss and follow through to see that you get fair and prompt payment. We represent a carefully selected group of financially sound, reputable insurance companies, and we place your policy with the company offering the best coverage at a competitive price. We in effect “shop” for you from among the more than dozen companies we represent on a direct basis, and the host of others available to us on a brokerage basis.

To reduce your insurance costs & to reduce gaps in coverage. We analyze your insurance requirements & help you assess your Risk Management. We examine your existing insurance and work with you to provide recommendations and cost comparisions.

Founded in 1963 by Stephen P. Mitchell, The Michell Corporation has stayed true to it’s early principles of providing “Insurance For Every Need”, partnering with our clients and providing excellent customer service. Like most small businesses in America, we employ several family members and others who have come to feel like family. The staff likes to think in a greater sense of all their clients as family and count it their privilege to serve this family as their insurance agents, brokers and consultants.
